ALL REGISTRATION STICKERS are based on a

   CALENDAR YEAR (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31)

GOLF CAR RULES FOR ANNUAL LEASE & TRANSIENT GOLF CAR OWNERS

1. Operator(s) of golf car must be at least 16 years of age and have in your possession a VALID Driver’s License or Permit to operate a golf car in Ocean Lakes Family Campground.

2. The golf car must be registered and must have a valid registration sticker attached to the driver’s side of the front of the golf car. 
There is a fee of $10.00 per registration sticker issued.

3. Registration Requirements

a. The owner of the golf car must maintain a minimum of $50,000 Personal Injury and Property Damage Liability Insurance on golf car.
b. Annual Lease Site number attached to both the front and back of the car in reflective letters at least 3” high. 
c. Annual Lease Site owners could be subject to a fine if their site numbers are not on the golf car.
d. Have working light(s) permanently attached to the front of the car at least 4” in diameter.
e. Have working light(s) or reflectors permanently attached to the rear of the car.
f. Golf car must be registered to the Annual Lease holder or transient car owner and NOT to sub-lessees or renters.

4. Under NO circumstances can golf cars be rented to other sites or other guests as a separate transaction.

5. NO gas powered or motorized golf cars are permitted.

6. Golf cars driven after sunset must have the lights turned on.   Golf cars cannot be operated during the quiet hours (11pm - 7am).

7. Golf cars must be operated properly and driven only on roadways.  Golf cars are not to be driven on campsites, beach, or restricted areas.

8. All passengers must be safely seated on the golf car at all times.  No sitting on the front cowl or bumpers and no standing or kneeling on the golf car while in motion.

9. The Annual Lease holder or transient car owner is responsible for the operation of the golf car.  The Annual Lease holder or transient car owner shall indemnify and hold Ocean Lakes Family Campground harmless from and against any and all liability, including bodily injury and property damage arising out of the use or operation of the equipment by the Annual Lease holder or transient car owner and anyone using or operating the same with the Annual Lease holder or transient car owner’s express or implied consent.

10. Golf car owners must notify the front office upon check-in that they are bringing their golf car into the campground.  There is a $2.00 charge per night in season for golf car owners using their golf car if staying at a transient campsite.

11. Annual Lease Holder golf cars must be registered to the annual lease site and no other site.

12. Golf Car Violations result in the following actions:   (ZERO TOLERANCE)

Annual Lease Holder Cars:

First Offense of underage driving, reckless driving:  $50.00 fine will be levied against that site and documentation recorded in the Site’s line file.

Second Offense will result in the loss of privilege to maintain a car on the campground for one year.  If violations occur after the second offense, the lease could be in jeopardy.

Transient Owned Cars:

First Offense of underage driving, reckless driving:  $50.00 fine will be levied and must be paid immediately at the Main Office.

Second Offense will result in the loss of privilege to operate a golf car on the campground.  The golf car must be placed back on the guest’s trailer or into the golf car storage area.

ANNUAL LEASE HOLDERS: IF YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE RULES ABOVE, YOUR LEASE COULD BE IN JEOPARDY.
